Getting Started
BEEM ODBC Driver
Connect Power BI, Excel, and any ODBC application to your BEEM Data Warehouse.
How it works
The BEEM ODBC Driver creates a secure connection to your BEEM Data Warehouse. You install the driver and the Power BI connector, enter your credentials, and start querying — the secure connection is handled automatically.
Power BI / Excel ──ODBC──▶ BEEM Driver ──secure tunnel──▶ BEEM Data Warehouse
Features
- Secure connectivity — encrypted connections through a secure tunnel, no VPN required
- Power BI integration — custom connector with DirectQuery and Import mode support
- Zero configuration — connection settings are configured at install time; just enter your credentials and go
- Fast schema querying — optimized to load your workspace tables quickly, faster than standard ODBC drivers
- Table caching — full table list cached in-memory to avoid repeated round-trips
Quick start
- Install the ODBC driver for your platform
- Set up the Power BI connector
- Open Power BI Desktop, click Get Data, search for BEEM
- Enter your credentials — you're connected
